my piano teacher.
growing up i had this lovely eldery woman as a piano teacher. she was really one of my role models, she was an amazing artist and just so talented at so many different instruments. She used to tell me these stories about how she didn’t marry the love of her life, and she regreted it everyday of her life. she let the love of her life go, and married someone who could never make her feel the way he did. She settled. I don’t ever want that to happen, to be married to someone and look back and wish you were with someone else. to live a lie and raise children from a man, while you dreamt at night of someone else. im absolutely horrified of that happening.
